United are interested in securing Danny Rose from Spurs, with the left-back behind Ben Davies in Pochettino's pecking order, and the two could swap clubs in January.

Though Soler has an €80 million release clause in his contract, the player wants Valencia to accept £45m from United, so he can complete a transfer to the Premier League.

The Uruguay international has also been linked with Inter’s Serie A rivals Juventus and Roma, along with Premier League duo Liverpool and Manchester United.
